Googoosh Dolls is me + Ariyan Basu’s SWANA-inspired microtonal techno / dance music project that's going for a kind of goofy maximalist thing, a play on the tasteless 90s iranian synth pop and tasteful techno. We also co-organize the annual technowruz series in NYC, a cultural event and dance party in celebration of the holiday Nowruz.
